World Council 2014
The World Council is the gathering of the global YMCA movement organized every four years by the World Alliance of YMCAs in 2014 and hosted by the YMCA of the USA. During the event, YMCAs will gather to share, learn and build upon the work of the strategy in a new way.
The World Council will take place 29 June through 5 July 2014 at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, USA. National General Secretaries and youth participants will continue for a forum on 5-6 July.
The World Council programme will have 5 core elements: business session/governance, learning sessions, networking, strategic directions, group work/collective sharing and positioning for telling our collective YMCA story through once-in-a-lifetime performance. At the World Council, everyone will join in creating the collective story of the YMCA global movement.

1) Governance and Business sessions
2) Learning Sessions
3) Networking and Bonding
4) Group Work/Collective Sharing and working together to communicate and develop a performance of our collective YMCA story
5) Envisioning our strategic directions for 2014 -2018.
